Housing Lottery and Room Selection
Housing Lottery and Room Selection is a process by which students who currently live on campus apply for next year’s housing and either select a room for next year or place themselves on the housing wait list.
The Housing Lottery and Room Selection process can be completed in three easy steps:
1) Apply for housing by logging onto My Housing between Monday, February 13, 2012 and Sunday, February 19, 2012. We are pleased to announce that students will not be required to pay a deposit when applying for housing.
2) Check to see if you got a selection time slot*. Rising sophomore time slots will be posted by 4PM on Tuesday, February 21 and rising junior and senior time slots will be posted by 4PM on Wednesday, February 22.
3) Log onto My Housing on or after your time slot to select your room, choose a meal plan, and sign the contract.
* A selection time slot is a randomly generated date and time on which students are eligible to pick a room. Because Housing usually receives more applications than we can accommodate, not every student receives a time slot. If a student has not received a time slot by the above listed posting dates, that student can place him or herself onto the wait list.
